When an escalator don’t want to escalate 

On a quiet night, the world’s inanimate objects come to life, engaging in deep, philosophical conversations. The escalator, in particular, is struck by a question: If I don't escalate, am I still a good escalator? The next day, it refuses to fulfill its function, testing human reactions and searching for the deeper meaning of its existence.
